1. Our Core Privacy Commitment

At YouTube Downloader 94, we believe privacy is a fundamental right. We have deliberately engineered our platform so you can download publicly available YouTube media without creating an account, sharing your identity, or providing any YouTube login credentials.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

  • No Account Credentials: We never ask for, collect, or store YouTube usernames, passwords, or session cookies.
  • No Media Library: We do not host or archive the videos you download. Because YouTube's own file links only work for the server that requested them, the videos, MP3s and thumbnails you download are prepared on our server and kept for up to 24 hours (see section 3), then deleted.
  • No User Profiles: We do not track your browsing history across other websites or construct personal user profiles.

3. Ephemeral Link Processing

When you submit a URL in our downloader, that link is temporarily processed in memory strictly to extract the direct public media streams. The video, MP3 and thumbnail files our server prepares are kept for up to 24 hours, so repeat downloads of the same post are instant, and are then deleted automatically. They are stored by post, not by visitor.

4. Usage Log

Each time a link is looked up or a download button is used, we record:

  • the time, your IP address, and the country it belongs to;
  • your device type (for example iPhone, Android, or Windows), taken from your browser's user-agent;
  • which public YouTube post was requested, its type, the quality downloaded, and whether it succeeded.

We use this to prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, fix errors, and understand which countries and devices use the service. Only the site operator can see it. The country is looked up on our own server using the DB-IP Lite database; your IP address is not sent to any third party. IP addresses are deleted after 90 days. The remaining entries (country, device type, and counts) are kept without them for statistics.

5. Contact Form

If you write to us through the Contact page, we store your name, email address, message, and IP address so we can reply and handle copyright requests. Messages are kept until the request is resolved, and the IP address is deleted after 90 days.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

YouTube Downloader 94 uses local storage on your browser strictly for user preferences (for example, remembering whether you prefer Dark Mode or Light Mode). We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Third-Party Links & Meta Disclaimer

YouTube Downloader 94 is an independent utility not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by YouTube or Google LLC. We do not have control over YouTube's privacy practices. When viewing public posts on YouTube, your activity is governed by Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
